Immanuel Lutheran School is a ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church (LCMS) which offers a quality Christian education for grades 4K-8.  Students are prepared academically and spiritually to serve God in their community and world.   Students consistently score above state and national norms on achievement testing and are well-prepared for their high school years.  Our curriculum is rigorous and recognizes the importance of computer literacy, foreign language, music, art, and physical education.  Immanuel also offers athletic programs in soccer and basketball. The school is supported by full-time child care and before and after care programs.  Three-year-old preschool is also available through the child care program. Bussing is available through the Marshfield Bus Service. If you would like more information about Immanuel Lutheran School, please call 715-384-5121 or email info@immanuelmarshfield.org.

Immanuel Lutheran Day School has high academic standards taught by professional, state-licensed teachers in a Christian setting.

Immanuel Lutheran School, Marshfield's Spartans

Quality Christian 4 Year-Old Kindergarten through 8th Grade Education: All Denominations Welcome

February 2018

We now are into the second semester and are busy planning for the next school year. Please watch the Monthly Memo, and other school publications, about enrollment for next year and information on upcoming open houses. If you know someone who would be interested in the excellent, Christian education we offer here at Immanuel, please encourage them to give us a call or stop by.

The National Accelerated Reader Challenge has begun. Students in LCMS schools read as many books as they can in the six weeks of the challenge. They then take tests through the Accelerated Reader program at each school to earn points. These points are calculated each week to see where students rank. This is a great event and encourages reading. Check the school ramp to see where we rank against other schools.

There is an early dismissal on Wednesday, February 7th and no school on February 12th for Immanuel students only. Mid-quarter grades will be on Fast Direct on February 16th

The basketball season will be finishing in February. There are still a few games left. If you are interested in attending a game, please check the Monthly Memo for dates. Go Spartans!

PTL is also busy preparing for the School Carnival on March 10th during our Lutheran Schools’ Week (Mar. 3-10). Our carnival is a wonderful outreach to the community and a lot of fun! PTL will be taking donations of cakes for our cake walk as well as items for the silent auction. If you are interested in donating items or helping at the carnival, please give us a call. We hope to see you there!

During the month of February, we are often thinking about love. We see hearts and valentines in the stores. The color red is everywhere. The Bible tells us that “God is love” May we share His love to everyone we meet.

In Christ, Dr. Karen Bahn, Principal
