Welcome to Immanuel Lutheran Church and School. We are pleased that
you have chosen to visit our website and welcome any questions or
comments you might have.
Immanuel Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri
Synod and is located in the "Downtown" area of our city of 18,000+
people. We are a congregation of 1100 baptized members including,
approximately, 900 communicant members. We have been blessed by our
gracious Lord and Savior to the point where we carry out a
broad-based program of mission and ministry in our community, our
country, and our world. These missions and ministries carried out
in the name of Jesus Christ and a history of our congregation are
found at other places on this website.
The ministry of our school is to "train up children in the way they
should go so when they are old, they will not depart from it"
(Prov. 22:6). This training begins with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
and His saving grace. It then continues with teaching the whole child
academically, emotionally, socially, physically, and spiritually. We
are pleased to teach children in grades Preschool through eighth. Our
school is supported by a full-time child care center and after care
programs.
Please feel free to contact us with
questions and/or comments.

These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. | | --- Deuteronomy 6:6-7
